How to plan for holiday on a budget and last minute!

Holiday is coming – tink!tink!!tink!!! infact its already here, who would have thought 2019 will run so fast. Seasonal Holiday is my best time of the year to take time to unwind with family, and of course my friends. Who wouldn’t agree!
This year 2019, has been filled with so many back to back activities center around work and family. How about you?

No doubt, my body craves for fun holiday getaway to end this remarkable year into the start of another DECADE.

Its no magic when i say i am on a budget and plans are made on last minute. This is how i plan to let my hair down as i bask under the sun on the beach  – dance to Afrobeat and old school muzik at classy clubs, vibe into night life of Lagos city, trash my weight scale to dine at fancy restaurants, and of course spend quality time with family.

Check out my tips:

My deal destinations are visa on arrival
I don’t have that time nor energy to fill visa application forms, gather documents nor chase embassies on such short notice. I am only up for visa free destinations/visa on arrival, but for destinations in Africa only.

Interesting to note, most natural lovely holiday destinations in the world are in Africa. The list goes from Seychelles, Cape Verde, Egypt, Kenya,Tanzanian, south Africa, Nigeria,Senegal etc. Also don’t let me start with the food, night life, culture in-fact no dull moment when you know your way around the locals too. This and much more you can do on a small budget, no need to rob banks. Top on my list of 3  is Cape Verde, i am looking at getting that Bahamas vibe in Africa.

Short duration and more activities #less4more
More activities for a short stay wont necessarily choke me nor cost me much money. Why? because some outings will come at a cost while others at no charge #ifyouknowyouknow Its that simple, i could chose to hangout at any cafe by the beach in Lagos with free access to the beach. Some places of interest also come with free drinks and finger foods during festive.

Little activities like this add to your whole total itinerary. Then I am thinking, spend less days on one of the islands at Cape Verde, before i had back to Lagos.

EKo oni baje vibe #lasgidi #gidimiami #dettydecember
Lagos the city that never sleeps for this city is mad fun during holidays. Where are YOU? the whole world seems to be in Lagos this holiday, its shut down with so much vibe.

Some of the nice diners, bar, night clubs, jazz club, stage plays @muson centre and Terra Kulture, and several places you will find me chilling in Lagos are located in Victoria island and Lekki phase. And its a wrap dear readers, this is how you can DO IT.

Do not let anyone stop you from having fun this holiday not even You.
